Working Student in Mechanical Engineering

Modeling of components and assemblies using 3D design, performing various analyses regarding thermal and mechanical design of components and parts, creating manufacturing documents, supporting test setups, supporting the execution of tests, documenting work methods and standards, supervising and possibly independently conducting development tests, recording and evaluating measurement data and creating required documentation from test results and calculations, supporting standard tasks within the department.

• Modelling parts and assemblies using 3D design
• Carrying out a wide range of analyses on the thermal and mechanical design of parts and components
• Creating manufacturing documents
• Support with test setups
• Support in carrying out tests
• Documenting working methods and standards
• Supervising and, where needed, independently carrying out development tests, collecting and evaluating measurement data and creating the required documentation from test results and calculations
• Support with standard tasks within the department

• Enrolled student in aerospace, mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or a comparable field
• Inclination towards both practical and analytical work
• Basic programming knowledge is an advantage
• Knowledge of applying AI is an advantage
• Good German and English skills, spoken and written
• Willingness to take responsibility, flexibility, communication and teamwork skills are a matter of course
