High School Graduate Program Retail Trade Specialist

Three degrees – your future in book retail. In our high school graduate program for retail trade specialists (m/f/d) you learn the book trade from the ground up and prepare step by step for your future as a manager. You advise customers, shape our bookstore and take on your own responsibility early on.

Inspire customers: You advise our customers, give personal recommendations and learn what makes outstanding consulting. Take responsibility: You work independently on projects, contribute your ideas and increasingly take on your own tasks in the team. Gain first leadership experience: You support personnel deployment planning, accompany new team members and apprentices and learn what successful team leadership looks like. Shape a bookstore: You gain insights into assortment design, sales promotions and the diverse processes behind the scenes. Develop into a manager: Through seminars, coaching and practical experience you build your professional and personal skills in a targeted way.

You have a (technical) high school diploma with a practical component or are shortly before your successful completion and have very good German skills. You want to take responsibility, make decisions and develop step by step into a manager. You are interested in our assortment, enjoy interacting with people and want to convince customers. You keep an overview, tackle tasks independently and contribute your ideas.

Three degrees in three years: Retail merchant (m/f/d), certified retail trade specialist (m/f/d) and trainer certificate. Fair remuneration: €1,260 in the first and €1,410 in the second year of your apprenticeship as well as €2,525 gross during your subsequent further training as a retail trade specialist (m/f/d).
