Civil Engineer / Construction Technician

Richard Schulz Tiefbau is seeking a full-time civil engineer or construction technician for civil engineering, road construction and asphalt work at its Pfreimd branch. The medium-sized construction company employs more than 1,600 people.

• Prepare quotations
• Attend site management and construction meetings
• Act as the link between the client and site foreperson
• Take technical responsibility for ordering construction materials
• Manage subcontractors
• Monitor construction progress and check site results
• Independently prepare measurements of completed work
• Handle construction billing and contract changes
• Apply for traffic management orders

• Completed degree in civil engineering, further training as a construction technician or another comparable construction qualification
• Experience in road construction and civil engineering preferred
• Working knowledge of a construction billing program, ideally BauSU
• Basic MS Office skills
• Category B driving licence
• Business-minded thinking and action, with an independent, committed and responsible approach to work
• Assertiveness and strong communication skills
• Technical degree or similar qualification
