Three-year vocational training as an inland waterway mariner at thyssenkrupp Steel Europe AG, at the plant and in vocational school. You become a specialist in logistics solutions on the Rhine in inland ports and, besides conventional inland shipping, learn freight transport with pushed convoys and project logistics. With personal aptitude and interest, you can pursue the path to inland waterway captain during the training. Pay follows the collective agreement of the iron and steel industry NRW.
