During your three-and-a-half-year vocational training you gain extensive knowledge and skills in the profession of industrial mechanic (m/f/d) in our specialist departments, at our cooperation partner and at vocational school. thyssenkrupp rothe erde is the world's leading manufacturer of large slewing bearings and rolling bearings and one of the largest manufacturers of seamless rolled rings. Your training documentation is digital, using modern tablets and software. The practical part takes place at the Dortmund plant and at the Karrierewerkstatt in Witten, and the theoretical part takes place 1-2 days per week at the vocational college in Witten.

• Learn metalworking methods such as cutting, separating, forming and joining
• Learn control technology of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical production systems
• Learn the setup, maintenance and troubleshooting of production systems
• Create and use technical documents
• Program and operate industrial robots
• Work with attention to occupational safety and environmental protection
