Apprenticeship as Process Technologist for Steel Forming - Starting 2027

thyssenkrupp rothe erde trains process technologists for steel forming over three and a half years in specialist departments, at a cooperation partner and at vocational school. The training is documented digitally and provides insight into a modern industrial company.

Learning the fundamentals of steel forming, processing and heat treatment; acquiring knowledge of the metallurgical and mechanical properties of steel; operating and maintaining mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical production equipment; reading and creating technical drawings; planning and organizing work processes; evaluating work results for quality; and working in accordance with occupational safety and environmental protection requirements.

At least a good intermediate or lower secondary school certificate; solid basic knowledge of mathematics and physics; manual dexterity; an interest in technical equipment and steel processing; willingness to take responsibility; readiness to learn, reliability and teamwork; and good German skills in speaking and writing at least at B2 level.
