About this Apprenticeship
A three-and-a-half-year apprenticeship at thyssenkrupp Steel Europe AG, combining training at the plant and vocational school. You will learn to make, maintain and repair metal structures such as industrial plants, cranes and vehicle bodies, and teach customers how to operate them.
What You'll Learn
- Make individual parts and assemblies using technical drawings and parts lists
- Use different processing methods and machines, and handle materials and tools
- Assemble and dismantle metal structures
- Understand the importance of workplace safety and environmental protection
- Plan and organise work and assess the results
Requirements
- School leaving qualification
- Interest in how technology works and willingness to take responsibility
- Enjoyment of practical and analytical work
- Desire to do your best as part of a team
- Willingness to discover new things and approach others openly
