Financial Accountant

• Preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements under IFRS and HGB.
• Ensuring the proper, complete and timely recording of all business transactions and reconciliation of general and subledger accounts.
• Main contact for fixed asset accounting and for leasing (IFRS 16)
• Contact for auditors, tax auditors and internal departments.
• Helping to optimize and further develop accounting processes
• Responsibility for handling payments and booking incoming payments.

• Completed business degree with a focus on accounting, finance or controlling, or completed further training as a certified balance sheet accountant (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting, ideally in an international environment.
• Solid knowledge of accounting under HGB and IFRS.
• Confident use of ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and very good MS Office skills, especially in Excel.
• Analytical thinking, a strong affinity for numbers and a careful, structured way of working.
• Interest in the further development of digital finance processes as well as IT affinity.
• Team spirit, sense of responsibility and strong communication skills when dealing with internal and external partners.
