Maintenance Engineer HVAC and Utilities

• Project responsibility for new construction, conversions and maintenance, ensuring drinking water and energy supply (heating, building distributors, compressed air)
• External contractor coordinator per §6 DGUV1, budget planning and OE responsibility for drinking water and energy supply in WL, responsibility for central cooling water generation, ventilation and air conditioning systems
• Ensuring compliance with all inspection deadlines for monitored systems, planning statutory inspections, support of gas extinguishing systems, sprinkler systems, main pipes and rainwater pumping stations
• Support of OE management as interface to authorities, contact person for waste disposal at site (deputy waste officer) and coordination of all environmental protection and energy management measures with energy and environmental officer
• Contact person for canteen and cleaning management on site

• Completed further education as state-certified technician or master craftsman or completed university degree in electrical engineering, supply engineering, HVAC/refrigeration technology or a comparable technical field
• Several years of job-specific professional experience, ideally including project management in larger new construction and conversion projects
• Sound technical and specialist knowledge in technical building equipment, HVAC/refrigeration technology and/or supply engineering, plus willingness to participate in building services emergency duty
• Knowledge of CAD, CAFM and building automation systems (e.g. DDC, CAD, CAFM, SAP) and very good general IT skills
• Flexibility, quick comprehension, independent, responsible and structured working style, strong assertiveness and communication skills
