IT Controller

As an IT Controller at tk accelis GmbH in Essen, you support budget planning, cost control and billing for IT services. This permanent, full-time role includes reporting, monthly closing and improving service-oriented IT while working with international internal customers.

• Act as the contact for IT production departments on budget and forecast questions, and for the business on billing for IT services
• Help develop service-oriented IT and support improvements to the overall management approach from a controlling perspective
• Support others, particularly international internal customers, with questions about budgets and billing
• Independently support parts of budget planning and forecasts during the year
• Take responsibility for the team's preparation and improvement of monthly, quarterly and annual standard reports
• Carry out ad hoc research in national and international settings
• Help prepare the IT monthly closing as the basis for reliable billing of IT services to customers

• You have a completed university or university of applied sciences degree in Business Administration, or completed commercial vocational training with an additional qualification
• You have initial experience in controlling, ideally in an IT-related environment
• You have very good MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerBI
• Ideally, you have worked with SAP FI/CO/COPA and have knowledge of cost accounting and financial reporting under IFRS
• Knowledge of databases, specifically MS SQL, is an advantage
• Experience with the Technology Business Management methodology is a plus
• You enjoy working in a team, have good analytical skills and like learning
• You communicate well and are enthusiastic about continuous improvement
• You have very good English skills
