About this Apprenticeship
thyssenkrupp Gerlach GmbH is one of the world's leading steel forging companies. At the Homburg (Saar) site, about 700 employees produce forged parts (e.g. crankshafts and front axles) for the international automotive industry. Reinforcement is sought as soon as possible.
What You'll Learn
- Preparing, setting up and configuring production equipment
- Controlling and monitoring the manufacturing process
- Carrying out quality assurance
- Troubleshooting and fixing faults using circuit diagrams and analysis software
- Carrying out maintenance and repair work on the equipment (integrated maintenance)
Requirements
- Completed training as a mechatronics technician, electronics technician, industrial mechanic or comparable
- Relevant work experience in a production or industrial company desirable
- Knowledge of Siemens S7/TIA Portal, SEW Movidrive B
- Teamwork skills, independent way of working
- High commitment and sense of responsibility
- Willingness to work shifts and weekends
