Welder, Plant Service

tk accelis Industrial Services GmbH, formerly thyssenkrupp MillServices & Systems GmbH, is a highly skilled technical service provider with special expertise in the metal producing and processing industry and in other sectors with complex production processes. The company offers slag management, production support, transport logistics, plant service, packaging systems and wood products, as well as plant engineering and projects. Full-time, limited-term position in Duisburg.

• You carry out general welding work on steel structures and steel components
• You prepare the material to be welded (e.g. tacking, milling, grinding)
• You check weld seams for quality and dimensional accuracy
• Your duties include finishing workpieces (e.g. cleaning, grinding, deburring)
• Among other things, you carry out general maintenance work in the steel plant, blast furnace, sinter plant and coking plant
• You carry out various flame cutting, cutting and grinding tasks

• Several years of professional experience, preferably with various welding methods
• Valid test certificates (welding processes 111 manual metal arc welding, 135 metal active gas welding, 138 metal active gas welding with metal powder cored wire electrode)
• Material group FM3 is an advantage
• Strengths include high social skills and good communication skills
• You show great commitment, flexibility and resilience
• You hold a driving licence of class B or higher
