Software Developer GUI

GUI software development in the development team for weapon, command and control systems (combat management systems) at TKMS ATLAS ELEKTRONIK GmbH in Bremen. Full-time, permanent, entry level (0-2 years of experience), hybrid work.

• GUI software development as part of our development team for weapon, command and control systems (combat management systems).
• Assessing, initiating and implementing all necessary activities in software development for defined architecture elements.
• Reducing complexity through further decomposition, creating implementation concepts and software designs, and linking individual software development artifacts for the respective architecture element.
• Developing the GUI software in C++ and QT, supported by modern tools in the field of combat management software.
• Helping to create software specifications, design descriptions and test documentation.
• Coordinating with the development team about your own tasks, problems and obstacles.
• Carrying out integration and tests on the target system.
• Supporting the team in planning and implementing the work package.

• Completed degree in computer science or comparable, with first professional experience.
• Alternatively, a completed vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker:in), with technical school training, specialist further education and several years of professional experience, or a comparable qualification.
• Knowledge of tool-supported software development on Microsoft Windows and Linux, or willingness to learn it, is required.
• Basic knowledge of applying object-oriented programming, analysis, design and UML.
• Team spirit and flexibility.
• Ability to work creatively, in a structured way and independently in a team, combined with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Good English and very good German skills, spoken and written.
• Enjoyment of occasional national and international business trips.
