About this Apprenticeship
TKMS is one of the leading global system providers in the design and construction of submarines and naval surface ships as well as maritime security technologies. A machining mechanic for turning technology is wanted at the Kiel site. Full-time, permanent.
What You'll Learn
- You machine large components on modern CNC lathes (horizontal & vertical).
- You clamp and align components independently – precision is your thing.
- You program directly at the machine (Siemens control) and get the best out of it.
- You choose the right tools and ensure perfect surfaces.
- You document your work cleanly and reliably.
Requirements
- Training as a machining mechanic (specialization in turning technology)
- At least 3 years of experience with CNC turning of large parts.
- You know your way around Siemens controls and IT systems.
- You work independently, think along and pitch in with the team.
