Apprenticeship: Abitur Graduate and Retail Management Program for Future Managers, Garden Department

Apprenticeship as a junior manager in the garden department of a toom hardware store. Within 18 months you earn the title of retail merchant (m/f/d), followed by 22 months of further training to become a certified retail business manager (Handelsfachwirt) and the trainer certificate (AdA).

• You are involved in our company from day one and get to know retail, toom and all processes from different perspectives in the garden department
• You go through the different specialist departments in the garden, gain specific product knowledge of our ranges and learn how to advise customers optimally and hold sales conversations
• You accompany the garden managers in their daily work and are perfectly prepared for starting as a junior manager
• About every 6 weeks you attend 5-day theory modules at our training provider in Neuwied

• General university entrance qualification or technical college entrance qualification
• Outgoing personality and enjoyment of dealing with customers
• Interest in retail and in our garden range
• A high level of communication skills
• Enjoyment of working in a team and later leading one yourself
• High commitment, resilience and a lot of talent for self-organization
• Regional flexibility (for the further training to become a Handelsfachwirt)
