Abitur and Retail Business Specialist Program for Future Managers – Garden Department

For the apprenticeship start on 01.08.2027, we are looking for you as a future toomworker for an apprenticeship as a junior manager in our toom hardware store's garden department. Within 18 months you earn the title of retail merchant, then in 22 months you complete further training as a retail business specialist (Handelsfachwirt) and the trainer certificate (AdA).

• You are involved in our company from day one and get to know retail, toom and all processes up close from different perspectives in the garden department
• You go through the different specialist departments in the garden, gain specific knowledge of our ranges and learn how to advise customers best and hold sales conversations
• You accompany the garden managers in their daily work and are perfectly prepared to start as a junior manager
• Approximately every 6 weeks you attend 5-day theory modules at our training provider in Neuwied

• General university entrance qualification or advanced technical college entrance qualification
• Outgoing personality and enjoyment of dealing with customers
• Interest in retail and in our garden range
• A high level of communication skills
• Fun working in a team and later leading one yourself
• High commitment, resilience and plenty of talent for self-organization
• Regional flexibility (for the further training as retail business specialist)
