Apprenticeship: Abitur Graduate and Retail Management Programme for Future Managers, Garden Department

For the training start on 01.08.2027, we are looking for you as a future toomworker for an apprenticeship as a junior manager in the garden department of our toom hardware store.

• In the Abitur graduate and retail management programme for future managers, you are involved in our company from day one and get to know retail, toom and all processes up close in the garden department from different perspectives
• Within 18 months you already earn your title as retail merchant (m/f/d), and then complete the 22-month further training as Handelsfachwirt and the trainer certificate (AdA)
• You go through the different specialist departments in the garden, acquire specific product knowledge and learn how to advise customers optimally and hold sales conversations
• You also accompany the garden managers in their daily work and are perfectly prepared for starting as a junior manager
• About every 6 weeks you attend 5-day theory modules at our training provider in Neuwied and benefit from excellent learning conditions in small groups

• General university entrance qualification or advanced technical college entrance qualification
• Sociable and enjoy dealing with customers
• Interest in retail and our garden range
• A high level of communication skills
• Enjoy working in a team and later leading one
• High commitment, resilience and plenty of talent for self-organisation
• Regional flexibility (for the further training as Handelsfachwirt)
