Apprenticeship: Abitur and Retail Business Manager Program for Future Managers

For the apprenticeship start on 01.08.2027, we are looking for you as a future toomworker for a management trainee apprenticeship at toom in the DIY store area.

• In the program you are involved from day one and get to know retail, toom and all processes from different perspectives on the sales floor
• Within 18 months you earn your title as retail clerk, then in 22 months the further training to Retail Business Manager and the trainer certificate (AdA)
• You rotate through the store's departments, acquire product knowledge and learn how to advise customers and hold sales conversations
• You accompany the store's managers in their daily work and are prepared for entry as a management trainee
• Approx. every 6 weeks you attend 5-day theory modules at the training provider in Neuwied

• General higher education entrance qualification or technical college entrance qualification
• Sociable and enjoy dealing with customers
• Interest in retail and our DIY store range
• A high level of communication skills
• Enjoy working in a team and later leading one
• High commitment, resilience and a talent for self-organization
• Regional flexibility (for the Retail Business Manager further training)
