• Join the company from day one through the school-leaver and advanced retail management programme for future managers, learning about retail, toom and store operations from different perspectives on the shop floor
• Earn your retail sales qualification within 18 months, then spend 22 months completing the advanced retail management qualification and trainer qualification (AdA)
• Rotate through different store departments, gain knowledge of the product ranges and learn how to advise customers and conduct sales conversations
• Work alongside store managers in their daily work and prepare for your first management role
• Attend five-day theory modules at the training provider in Neuwied about every six weeks, with small classes that support learning
• Good pay: €1,300 per month in months 1 to 12, €1,500 per month in months 13 to 18, and specialist sales staff pay under a fixed pay scale in months 19 to 33; extra benefits include help with rent if you move for the advanced training, pension benefits, discounts and other benefits within the REWE Group
• Close support throughout the programme from contacts in the store, head office and training provider
