About this Apprenticeship
Apprenticeship at the toom DIY store in Kaiserslautern starting on 1 August 2027. The sales assistant programme lasts two years, while the retail sales professional programme lasts three years. Learn customer advice, merchandise displays, till operation and store organisation.
What You'll Learn
- Rotate through different departments and be the first point of contact for our customers
- Give advice, know the products and have the right tools and materials ready
- Take responsibility for your own projects and contribute your ideas
- Develop your skills through apprentice seminars and specialist training to prepare well for your exams
- As a sales assistant, learn about customer advice, merchandise displays, till operation and daily store routines.
- As a retail sales professional, also deepen your business knowledge, take responsibility for your own projects and develop into a sales professional.

- Friendly manner
- Openness and enjoyment of communication
- Strong interest in our DIY store products
- At least a lower secondary school leaving certificate
