About this Apprenticeship
Train at toom's DIY store from 1 August 2027: qualify as a sales assistant in two years or a retail sales specialist in three years. Learn to advise customers and organise store operations in a team that values respect, appreciation and support.
What You'll Learn
- You rotate through different departments and are the first point of contact for our customers
- You give advice, know the products and always have the right tools and materials ready
- You take responsibility for your own projects and contribute your ideas
- You also keep developing through our apprentice seminars and specialist training, helping you prepare well for your exams
- You learn about advising customers, displaying goods, working at the till and daily store operations.
- You also deepen your knowledge of business topics, take responsibility for your own projects and develop into a sales professional.

- A friendly manner
- Openness and enjoyment of talking with people
- A strong interest in our DIY store products
- At least a Hauptschulabschluss school leaving certificate
