About this Apprenticeship
For the training start on 01.09.2027, toom is looking for you as a future toomworker for the toom DIY store. You can choose the 2-year apprenticeship as a sales assistant (m/f/d), covering customer advice, product presentation, checkout work and daily store operations, or the 3-year apprenticeship as a retail merchant (m/f/d), with additional business topics. The training takes place within store opening hours.
What You'll Learn
- You rotate through different departments and are the first contact person for our customers
- You give tips, know the products and always have the right tools and materials ready
- You take responsibility in your own projects and contribute your ideas
- You also keep growing through our apprentice seminars and professional training, so you are well prepared for your exam
Requirements
- Enjoy fulfilling customers' wishes
- Friendly manner
- Openness and enjoyment of communication
- Strong interest in our DIY store products
- At least a lower secondary school certificate (Hauptschulabschluss)
