About this Apprenticeship
Apprenticeship at the toom DIY store in Heide, starting on 1 September 2027. Choose between a two-year sales assistant apprenticeship and a three-year retail sales specialist apprenticeship. Learn customer service, product displays, till operation and store organisation.
What You'll Learn
- Rotate through different departments and serve as the first point of contact for our customers
- Give advice, know the products and have the right tools and materials ready
- Take responsibility for your own projects and contribute your ideas
- Keep developing through apprentice seminars and specialist training so that you are well prepared for your exam
- Learn about customer advice, product displays, till duties and daily store operations during the sales assistant apprenticeship.
- During the retail sales specialist apprenticeship, deepen your business knowledge, take responsibility for your own projects and develop into a sales professional.

- Enjoy helping customers get what they want
- A friendly manner
- Openness and enjoyment of communicating
- A strong interest in our DIY store products
- At least a lower secondary school leaving certificate
