Apprenticeship Retail Salesperson / Sales Assistant - Garden Department

Apprenticeship start on 1 August 2027 as a toomworker at the toom hardware store, garden department. You can train as a sales assistant in 2 years or as a retail clerk in 3 years.

• You get to know the different departments of the garden centre, from houseplants and garden building materials to lawn mowers and grills
• You take responsibility in your own projects
• You also keep developing through apprentice seminars and specialist training and are well prepared for your exam
• Sales assistant: You learn everything about customer advice, product presentation, till work and the daily routine in the garden department.
• Retail clerk: You also deepen your knowledge of business topics, take responsibility in your own projects and develop into a sales professional.
