• Friendly greeting, service and farewell of customers
• Smooth, inventory-safe handling of checkout transactions and trustworthy handling of payments
• Providing services, e.g. equipment and van rental and processing online reservations
• Handling complaints, warranties and returns
• Answering customer inquiries and forwarding to colleagues where needed
• Maintaining and attractively presenting the checkout area and restocking goods

• Retail experience, e.g. as a retail or wholesale clerk, cashier, or as a career changer from another industry
• Enjoyment of direct customer contact, solution orientation and organizational skills
• A careful, structured and quick way of working
• Confident use of merchandise management systems
