About this Apprenticeship
Part-time with up to 110 hours per month, initially limited to 12 months. toom is part of the REWE Group, runs more than 300 stores nationwide and employs around 18,000 people.
What You'll Learn
- Friendly greeting, serving and farewell of our customers
- Smooth, inventory-safe handling of checkout transactions and trustworthy handling of payment methods
- Implementing our services, e.g. equipment and van rental and processing online reservations
- Handling complaints, warranties and returns
- Answering customer inquiries and forwarding them to colleagues where needed
- Maintaining and attractively presenting the checkout area and restocking goods
Requirements
- Experience in retail, e.g. as a retail/wholesale sales clerk (m/f/d), cashier or as a career changer from another industry
- Enjoyment of direct contact with customers, solution orientation and organizational skills
- A careful, structured and equally quick way of working
- Confident use of merchandise management systems
