About this Apprenticeship
Part-time position at the checkout/info desk at toom, part of the REWE Group, with up to 120 hours per month. Nationwide, toom operates more than 300 stores with around 18,000 employees.
What You'll Learn
- Friendly greeting, service and farewell of our customers
- Smooth and inventory-proof handling of checkout processes and trustworthy handling of means of payment
- Implementation of our services, e.g. equipment and van rental and processing of online reservations
- Processing of complaints, warranties and returns
- Answering customer inquiries and forwarding them to colleagues where needed
- Maintenance and attractive presentation of the checkout area and restocking of goods
Requirements
- Experience in retail, e.g. as a retail/wholesale sales clerk (m/f/d), cashier or as a career changer from another industry
- Enjoyment of direct customer contact, solution orientation and organizational skills
- A careful, structured and equally quick way of working
- Confident handling of merchandise management systems
