About this Apprenticeship
Part-time with up to 100 hours per month. Initially limited to 6 months. Sales and advice at a toom hardware store, part of the REWE Group.
What You'll Learn
- Friendly and competent advice and creating goods orders for our customers
- Fulfilling our service mindset and focusing on customers' wishes
- Taking responsibility for placing products and promotional goods in your sales area
- Carrying out price labeling and putting up signage
- Making decisions within your scope, e.g. for complaints, and contributing range ideas
Requirements
- Experience in retail, e.g. as a retail/wholesale merchant (m/f/d), sales assistant, customer advisor, or in a trade, e.g. as a carpenter, electrician, heating/plumbing installer, or as a career changer from another industry
- Interest in our hardware store range and ideally experience as a DIY enthusiast
- Enjoyment of direct customer contact and selling our products, as well as strong communication and a solution-oriented approach
- Organizational skills, e.g. for independently prioritizing and structuring daily business
- Openness to using digital work tools and merchandise management systems
