About this Apprenticeship
Fixed-term for 12 months and part-time with up to 120 hours per month. Sales position in the toom garden department, part of the REWE Group. Career changers are welcome.
What You'll Learn
- Friendly and competent advice and creating goods orders for our customers
- Fulfilling our service mindset and focusing on customers' wishes
- Taking responsibility for the attractive design and placement of garden products and promotional goods in your sales area
- Carrying out price labelling and putting up signage
- Making decisions within your scope of action, e.g. for complaints, and contributing range ideas
Requirements
- Experience in retail, e.g. as a retail/wholesale clerk (m/f/d), sales assistant, customer advisor, or in a trade, e.g. as a gardener, tree nursery gardener, florist, garden/landscape builder, technician, or as a career changer from another industry
- Interest in our garden range and willingness to get stuck in
- Enjoyment of direct contact with customers and selling our products, as well as strong communication skills and a solution-oriented approach
- Organisational skills, e.g. for independently prioritising and structuring daily business
- Openness to working with digital tools and merchandise management systems
