Production Planner

TRUMPF is a family-run high-tech company with nearly 19,000 employees at 71 locations worldwide. As the central control point, you are responsible for production control and the planning of production material. The position is fixed-term for 18 months.

• Responsibility for production control and planning of production material, and defining the suitable procurement and planning strategy
• Tracking and controlling deadlines for purchased parts and production orders
• Coordinating delivery dates and required quantities in close consultation with customers, suppliers and the development and quality assurance departments
• Supporting product changes: adapting procurement processes and maintaining the related master data in SAP
• Analysing and optimising lead times, working capital, lot sizes and supplier selection

• Completed degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering, a technical apprenticeship with further training as a state-certified technician, or a comparable qualification; career changers with relevant practice are explicitly welcome
• Solid professional experience in a production environment and practical knowledge of the requirements of production control and materials management
• Good knowledge of SAP R/3 and MS Office
• Independent work and a structured, solution-oriented approach
• Good written and spoken English; an advantage but not an exclusion criterion
