• As part of your internship, you will contribute to the development of laser systems for industrial production and learn about modern technologies such as e-mobility.
• When integrating new, not yet series-ready technology, you will work with the team to develop conceptual solution approaches.
• By designing mechanical assemblies as well as fixture and automation technology, you will shape central components of our laser systems.
• In cooperation with our customers, you will take practical requirements into account and thus bring a view of real operating conditions.
• With calculations, simulations and tests, you will accompany the various applications of the laser in cutting, welding and build-up welding.

• A degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on design or a comparable qualification forms your technical basis.
• Ideally, you have completed vocational training as a mechanic or mechatronics technician or have initial practical experience in the metalworking industry.
• You are confident in using 3D CAD systems, preferably SolidWorks, and apply your knowledge specifically in design.
• Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken, round off your profile.
• In demanding project phases you show willingness to perform and initiative and approach your tasks in a structured and independent manner.
