Internship Production Material Purchasing (Summer Semester 2027)

Internship at TRUMPF in production material purchasing during your studies. You take on exciting projects, work closely with experienced colleagues and gain valuable practical experience. Mandatory or voluntary internship, also in a gap year between Bachelor's and Master's.

• In production material purchasing, you support the team in procuring production materials and help ensure material availability
• You actively help maintain and update purchasing and supplier data and ensure a reliable data basis
• In close coordination with suppliers and internal departments, you help process orders and delivery dates
• By analyzing purchasing key figures and creating reports, you support the continuous optimization of procurement processes
• By working on purchasing projects, you gain insight into strategic and operational questions of material procurement
• In the strategic management of suppliers, you gain insight into coordinating international partners and help prepare and shape negotiations

• Studies in business administration, industrial engineering, supply chain management or a comparable degree program
• First interest in purchasing and procurement processes, ideally with some practical experience
• Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel
• Good German and English skills, spoken and written
• Structured and independent way of working as well as strong communication and teamwork skills
