Senior Physician Thoracic Surgery - Münster

Senior physician position in the Thoracic Surgery Section at University Hospital Münster (UKM). The section is a specialized, medically independent unit with supra-regional referrals. Main focus: oncological thoracic surgery within the West German Tumor Center (WTZ) and new Lung Cancer Center. Broad operative spectrum: minimally invasive surgical methods, robotic surgery, complex procedures, pediatric thoracic surgery, interdisciplinary thoracic trauma care, chest wall corrections, lung support systems, lung transplantation. Fixed-term 3 years, full-time 40 hours/week, remuneration according to TV-Ä.

Care and operative treatment of thoracic surgery patients. Expansion of minimally invasive thoracic surgery focus. Training and further education of assistant physicians. Participation in thoracic surgery on-call duty. Administrative tasks.

Completed specialist training (gn) in Thoracic Surgery. Interest in teaching and research. Social competence, team-oriented working style, willingness to learn new methods.
