Driver / Vehicle Mechatronics Technician Goods Transport

The UKM is looking for reinforcement in goods transport for its Logistics department within the Business Operations division. Permanent, full-time with 38.5 hours per week, pay according to TV-L. Goods transport handles supply and disposal runs for the clinics and institutes as well as special transports.

• Transport of pharmacy goods, laundry, sterile supply, mail, confidential waste and other smaller goods
• Disposal runs (e.g. animal carcasses/infectious waste)
• Special transports (e.g. liquid nitrogen/chemicals) according to ADR requirements (transport under the dangerous goods regulation)
• Daily supply of the external clinics with special heated carts for patient meals
• Special transports on request

• Successfully completed training, preferably as a professional driver or vehicle mechatronics technician, plus several years of professional experience in these fields
• Driving licence class 3 or class C1 and an accident-free, safe and calm driving style
• Besides responsible handling of sensitive goods, we expect a high degree of courtesy and helpfulness as well as absolute discretion and teamwork
• A well-groomed appearance and professional manner as well as good German skills and a good tone
• Physical resilience (loading and unloading vehicles) and willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
