About this Apprenticeship

Fixed term of 1 year as parental leave cover from 01.03.2027, full-time with 40 hours per week, pay according to TV-Ä 1-2. At the UKM Institute for Medical Microbiology, routine diagnostics area.

What You'll Learn

  • Co-supervision of routine diagnostics / microbial diagnostics
  • Participation in the institute's travel medicine vaccination clinic and the ABS rounds
  • Support with teaching events

Requirements

  • Passion for clinically oriented microbiology
  • Enjoyment of patient care and the full range of medical microbiology (bacteriology, parasitology, serology, virology, mycology)
  • Experience in antibiotic consulting (including ABS course) desirable
  • Doctorate desirable
  • Advanced training or completed specialist training in "Medical Microbiology, Virology and Infection Epidemiology" desirable
  • Completed clinical year in direct patient care desirable
