Conducting hygiene inspections, hygiene accompaniments, and process observations. Advising on all issues of infection prevention and hospital hygiene. Organizing hygiene-relevant operational processes and workflows. Planning and conducting training, further education, and instructions for various professional groups at UKM. Creating and updating hygiene concepts, hygiene and disinfection plans, as well as procedural and work instructions based on KRINKO recommendations and other relevant guidelines. Participating in internal and external quality assurance measures and in interdisciplinary working groups, projects, quality circles, and commissions. Hygienic support of construction projects, participation in inspections by supervisory authorities, and conducting quality-assuring hygienic-microbiological environmental examinations.

State recognition as a nursing specialist (female/male) or health and (children's) nurse (gn*) plus at least two years of professional experience, preferably in hygiene-sensitive areas such as intensive care, surgery, oncology, infection medicine, or pediatrics. Ideally completed further training as a hygiene specialist or willingness to complete it. Ideally professional experience in hospital hygiene. Teamwork, strong communication skills, and willingness to cooperate. Persuasiveness, assertiveness, and a professional and empathetic demeanor. Initiative, sense of responsibility, flexibility, and pedagogical skill. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
