Hygiene Specialist (HFK) / Registered Nurse as Team Lead

UKM Marienhospital is looking for a team lead for hospital hygiene. The team is responsible for ensuring and monitoring hygiene standards across the sites in Steinfurt, Emsdetten and Rheine. Permanent, full-time with 38.5 hours per week, pay according to AVR-C (loosely based on) P11.

• Advising hospital management on all hygiene questions
• Professional and organizational leadership and further development of the hospital hygiene team through regular professional guidance and targeted training and continuing education
• Creating, updating and monitoring hygiene and disinfection plans as well as hygiene-related organizational plans
• Advising, training and instructing staff on hygiene-related topics
• Quality assurance through hospital hygiene inspections and microbiological tests
• Advice on preventing hospital-acquired infections, especially in connection with multidrug-resistant pathogens
• Helping to clarify transmission chains in outbreak management and to develop measures to prevent further outbreaks
• Initiating and supporting risk minimization measures

• Qualification as a specialist health and nurse for hospital hygiene and infection prevention (HFK) or completed training as a registered nurse (gn*)
