Our voluntary services – Federal Voluntary Service (BFD) and Voluntary Social Year (FSJ) – offer you diverse opportunities to work for other people and gain valuable personal and professional experience. During your voluntary service, we accompany you on your path – preferably with you! At the UKM, you experience modern university medicine up close. You become part of a diverse team and learn how nursing, medicine, therapy and service work together for our patients.

• Inpatient patient care (general ward and intensive care)
• Outpatient patient care
• OR nursing (polyclinics)
• Functional areas, e.g. radiology, echocardiography, blood donation

• Supply areas (patient transport, pick-up and delivery service)
• Dementia-sensitive hospital unit

• Compulsory full-time schooling completed and 15 years of age reached
• At the end of the voluntary service you are not older than 27 years
