Power Plant Operator Electrical Engineering

Our pumped storage power plant in Happurg is looking for you! Full-time, on site, permanent, starting as soon as possible.

• Ensure high system availability
• Carry out and monitor inspection, maintenance and repair work and ongoing operating tasks (e.g. fault clearing, helping with maintenance, inspection rounds, manual control if needed)
• Create safe system states (isolations, work permits) for carrying out work
• On-site partner company management, especially briefing and supervising service providers
• Contribute to and carry out documentation and power plant and safety inspections
• Isolation and switching authorization procedures and work permit procedures according to granted authorizations (see also BOHB instructions); including deputizing for electrical system responsibility per VDE 0105
• Operational implementation of HSSE requirements in the area of responsibility
• Shift work as a lone worker, fault clearing and flood management

• Successfully completed training as an electrical specialist in industry/trades
• Relevant professional experience in electrical engineering and control technology
• Ability and willingness to do shift work as a lone worker
• Operating and switching authorization to be acquired within 6 months if necessary
• Relevant knowledge of industry technical rules, occupational safety and environmental protection
• Good PC skills (MS Office programs)
• Class B driving licence
