Power Plant Foreman Mechanical Engineering Production Shift Coal

Our Power Plant Group West at the Gelsenkirchen site is looking for you! Full-time, permanent, start as soon as possible.

• Operating and monitoring plants
• Taking over plant responsibility
• Carrying out safe, economical and proper plant operation
• Carrying out rounds (visual inspection of plant condition incl. order and cleanliness)
• Fault clearing / analysis and documentation
• Initiating repair measures in the assigned plants and reporting in SAP-WCM
• Planning, initiating and checking required isolation measures with the SAP isolation system
• Coordinating ongoing maintenance with other affected areas, releasing work permits and briefing maintenance staff on site
• Communicating and documenting all operationally relevant events (e.g. limit exceedances, load restrictions, etc.)
• Carrying out shift handover / takeover
• Training power plant operators and foremen in the plants

• Certified power plant foreman (m/f/d) with experience operating and monitoring plants
• Experience in shift operation of a power plant
• PC skills (MS Office, task-related SAP modules)
• Process-oriented thinking and working
• Independence, resilience, teamwork, flexibility
• Medical fitness under occupational health checks per statutory accident insurance principles and risk analysis for fully continuous shift operation
