Dual Study Program for Administrative Inspector Trainee

The Personnel and Organization Department seeks two administrative inspector trainees for a dual study program starting 01.09.2027. The program combines theoretical study phases at the University of Applied Sciences for Police and Public Administration (HSPV) in Bielefeld — covering legal, economic, and social science topics — with practical training phases in the university administration, where you apply theory to practice, legally assess cases, and make independent decisions. It is a 3-year dual study program in a revocable civil service relationship.

General higher education entrance qualification or unrestricted university of applied sciences entrance qualification; very good German language skills; good English and mathematics skills; interest in legal and administrative topics; communication skills and team spirit; quick comprehension, flexibility, and willingness to learn; goal-oriented and independent work style; organizational talent. For appointment as a civil servant: German or EU citizenship; medical fitness (verified by an official physician); compliance with civil service requirements (including a clean enhanced certificate of good conduct).
