Medical Assistant / MFA Heart and Vascular Outpatient Clinic

UKSH is looking, from the earliest possible date, on a permanent basis, for a medical assistant (MFA) for the Heart and Vascular Outpatient Clinic at Campus Kiel.

• Patient-focused care and assistance in outpatient treatment of patients with heart and vascular diseases (cardiology, vascular surgery, angiology and heart surgery)
• Care of patients in special consultation hours, especially heart failure/heart transplant and wound clinics, in close cooperation with the medical team
• Independent performance of diagnostic and nursing measures, e.g. blood draws, wound care, ECG, ABI measurements and diagnostics at the angiography tower
• Organization and coordination of consultation hours including patient admission, appointment management, preparation and follow-up of treatment rooms and documentation in the IT system
• Taking on administrative tasks such as service recording, ordering of medical supplies and active involvement in shaping organizational processes

• A completed training as a medical assistant / MFA or doctor's assistant
• Several years of professional experience, ideally in the named specialty, is desirable
• Eagerness to work, a responsible and conscientious way of working as well as helpfulness and empathy when dealing with patients and their relatives
• Confident use of common MS Office applications, practice software or, if possible, the ORBIS hospital information system
• Interest in continuous further training and learning new skills
