About this Apprenticeship
Ward A.221 at UKSH Campus Lübeck is a highly specialized nursing unit with 32 beds that cares for patients from hematology/oncology, bone marrow transplantation (BMT) and radiotherapy. We work in a multiprofessional team that combines innovative therapies, modern technology and excellent nursing standards, always focused on individual, empathetic and safe care.
What You'll Learn
- Holistic nursing care of our oncology patients
- Care before, during and after highly complex therapies such as BMT, immunotherapy and chemotherapy
- Monitoring, documentation and carrying out nursing and medical measures, especially supportive therapy
- Interdisciplinary cooperation with the medical service and all therapists involved
- Contributing to quality and development processes within the ward
Requirements
- A completed training as a qualified nurse (Pflegefachfrau / Pflegefachmann), health and nursing care professional or nurse
- Enjoyment of demanding, varied and responsible tasks
- Interest in top-level oncology medicine
- Team spirit, empathy, professionalism
- Willingness to take part in further training (e.g. oncology specialist qualification)

- Pay grade up to KR 9 TV-L, if the pay scale requirements are met
- A permanent full-time position, currently 38.5 hours / week; part-time work may be possible under certain working time models
