Registered Nurse, Cardiac Surgery ICU / IOI Unit

Provide patient-centred care in the cardiac surgery intensive care unit within Nursing Division III. An internal nursing pool provides support during staff absences. Individual development goals support your personal and professional growth. This permanent position starts as soon as possible.

• Provide intensive nursing care and carry out therapeutic and diagnostic measures
• Provide care before and after surgery
• Apply kinaesthetics principles or attend the relevant internal UKSH kinaesthetics training
• Participate in case discussions and ethics meetings
• Actively support and help shape nursing and organisational processes

• Completed vocational training as a registered nurse or a bachelor's degree in nursing
• Ideally, completed specialist training in intensive or intermediate care, or willingness to obtain it
• Particular sensitivity, understanding and empathy when working with patients and their families
• An independent and well-organised approach to work
• Flexibility to work a three-shift system and the usual working hours of the unit
