Registered Nurse, Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit

UKSH Lübeck is seeking a nurse for a permanent intensive care role, starting as soon as possible. Its modern neuroscience intensive care unit has a total of 14 neurosurgical and neurological beds.

• Provide intensive nursing care and carry out therapeutic and diagnostic measures
• Care for patients before and after surgery
• Act independently within your acquired skills and defined limits
• Use digital support systems for almost all documentation, apply kinaesthetics principles and attend UKSH kinaesthetics training, case discussions and ethics discussions
• Actively support and help shape nursing and organisational processes

• Completed vocational training as a registered nurse or a completed nursing degree (BSc.N.)
• Ideally, completed specialist intensive care or intermediate care training, or willingness to complete it
• Particular sensitivity, understanding and empathy towards patients and their relatives
• An independent and organised approach to work
• Flexibility to work a three-shift system and the usual working times in your department
