PhD Researcher in Experimental Research

The plastic surgery research laboratory at UKSH Campus Lübeck seeks support as soon as possible, initially for 3 years. Its DFG-funded projects study genetic causes of congenital chylothorax and the creation of bioengineered lymph node equivalents with blood vessels in a rat model.

• Independently plan and carry out experimental studies in histology, cell culture and molecular biology analysis
• Analyse data and interpret results
• Publish research findings in scientific journals
• Supervise students and technical staff

• A university degree completed with very good results, such as a master's, Diplom or equivalent, in life sciences or a related field
• Strong interest and experience in experimental research, especially in the methods listed
• Experience publishing research and interest in working across disciplines
• An independent and structured approach to work
