Deputy Clinic Director

We are looking for your professional and competent support as Deputy Clinic Director full-time (40 hrs/week) starting 01.01.2027. Your work environment: We work multiprofessionally closely together for our patients – as clinics for psychiatry, psychosomatics and psychotherapy as well as a psychiatric outpatient clinic (PIA). The clinics are divided into mostly disorder-oriented wards. The PIA is structured into four areas, to which predominantly disorder-oriented specialist areas are assigned. At the centre of our guideline-oriented treatment is psychotherapy, which is carried by the entire team. We have a particular interest in modern, evidence-based behavioural therapy methods – from ACT and CBASP to DBT to behavioural activation, metacognitive, trauma-therapeutic and schema-therapeutic approaches. We use these for a broad spectrum of mental and psychosomatic disorders. The programmes of the special wards are closely linked in content with specialised programmes of the outpatient clinic. Naturally, other modern and established methods of pharmacotherapy (e.g. ketamine) and stimulation procedures (e.g. rTMS, ECT) are also used. We are part of the University of Lübeck and are therefore engaged in research and teaching, especially in the fields of medicine and psychology but also in many other health sciences such as applied nursing science. In cooperation with the Center for Brain, Behaviour and Metabolism (CBBM) of the University of Lübeck and the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH), we set national and international accents in patient care as well as university research and teaching.

Deputising for the clinic director during their absence. Senior physician function on one of the disorder-specific wards. Management of multiprofessional teams consisting of physicians, psychologists; as well as close cooperation with nursing staff, social services, specialist therapies and clinic management. Further development of existing differentiated treatment concepts with the aim of ensuring continued high satisfaction of employees and patients. Support in designing clinic processes so that economic goals can be achieved. Support in conducting research and teaching in the clinic; independent scientific work is expressly desired and supported.

Specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy or psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy. Experience in selection and management of personnel, further development of concepts and budget planning. Empathic and strong communication skills with patients and employees. Clear and appreciative leadership style and ability to promote interprofessional collaboration. Further training in management (e.g. MBA), confident handling of common hospital information systems and quality management systems. Expertise in application and supervision of modern psychotherapy methods, ideally some of the above. Experience in scientific work, e.g. clinical studies, evidenced by publications and doctorate or habilitation.
