BFD - Clinics, Therapy & Training

A Federal Voluntary Service at the University Hospital Tübingen means exciting months to meet new people, to do something for yourself and others, to orient and develop yourself, and to challenge yourself. A BFD offers the opportunity to: bridge the period until the start of training or studies in a meaningful way, get to know new fields of activity as orientation assistance, find a way back into employment after a period without employment, contribute to others during a time out, and engage for the common good after professional life.

Therapy assistance: support with physiotherapeutic, ergotherapeutic, and speech therapy treatments together with a therapist; care: independent care of patients after the induction phase; accompaniment: accompanying patients to individual or group treatments and other appointments; training & rehab: instruction and support of patients during training or mobility measures; hygiene & material care: cleaning and disinfection of therapy materials and training equipment.

Letter of motivation, CV, and last school certificate. Desired period (start date respectively on the 1st / 15th of a month).

423.00 € pocket money per month; monthly ticket for public transport and meal allowance; the deployment duration is generally 12 months but can be ended at any time; 38.5 hours per week; from age 27, the BFD is also possible part-time from 21 hours per week; 30 days of recreational leave per year; during the BFD, 25 seminar days are legally provided.
