Language level B2 German (B2 certificate required for non-German school qualifications). Intermediate school leaving certificate (Mittlere Reife) or equivalent education, or lower secondary school leaving certificate (Hauptschulabschluss) plus completed 2-year vocational training, or completed training as a nursing assistant or geriatric care assistant. Minimum age 17. Internship in the field of nursing. Sense of responsibility, enjoyment in working with people and in physical activity at work. School qualifications obtained outside Germany must be recognized by a regional council (Regierungspräsidium).
