Nursing Specialist; Curative Education Nurse - Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

University Hospital Würzburg is looking for the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry department immediately in full or part time. In Child and Adolescent Psychiatry we have two open general wards (2 East and 2 West) and an intensive unit for acute phases. The department is rounded off by a special clinic, the Klinik am Greinberg. The wards have multifaceted tasks for nursing and educational services with different focuses and patients. Here you can get to know the entire spectrum of child and adolescent psychiatric clinical pictures and treatments! Our children are accompanied and protected in their acute phase in order to subsequently participate strengthened in their everyday life through individual treatment and therapies. There are no lone fighters here. You discuss and structure daily routine and the best possible care of our young patients together in the multiprofessional team. Your tasks are very individual, above all precise patient observation is important: reading between the lines, recognising minimal behavioural changes, classifying correctly and reacting always in contact with the adolescent – that's why we need you! After onboarding you also take on individual care and leading small groups in therapeutic settings.

Completed examination as nursing specialist (m/f/d) or curative education nurse (m/f/d). Good communication skills and empathy. Enjoyment of working with our patients and in the multiprofessional team. Preferably practical experience in dealing with psychiatric patients. Career starters are also very welcome!

Permanent employment contract from day one. Full-time or part-time possible, working hours individually adjustable later. Overtime can be paid out or taken as time off.
